Lisa J. Ford
Administrative Assistant
Lisa J. Ford joined the Helmets to Hardhats team in 2007 as the Administrative Assistant to Darrell Roberts, Executive Director of the program.
After graduation from the Business and Management Center in Dallas, Texas Lisa entered into
recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC as an aircraft maintenance
worker. In the course of boot camp her MOS was subsequently changed to Personnel
Administration. Upon graduation from recruit training she was stationed at Camp Johnson, NC
to attend Personnel Administration School. It was there she met and married her husband of 18
years who, consequently, is currently serving active duty in The Corps. Following her
enlistment Lisa has continued to work in the administrative, customer support arena.
Her association with the Marine Corps over the past 20 years naturally caused her to have an
affinity to the men and women of our Armed Forces. This passion for the military made her an
easy choice to bring into the Helmets to Hardhats program.
Lisa and her husband are currently attached to the office of the Commandant of the Marine Corps at The Pentagon in Arlington, VA. They have two daughters.
